Wow, its been a while since I uploaded anything, huh? Well, I made this one a couple months ago, for Anime Expo. But it was hard taking a good picture of it cuz the glass in the front keeps picking up reflections like crazy. However, I just got a external flash for my camera, which created some great ambient light to minimize the glare. So here it is.

This is a shadowbox piece; drawn with a pencil, colored in Painter, printed and mounted on foamcore, then cut out and layered in a shadowbox frame. A lot of fun to work on, but I don't think I can make many of these.

Oh, and the back got stuck in the frame, so I can't open it anymore (tried to clean the glass) *sigh

So cool! Really like how you did the layers. It's like one of those school dioramas you'd make... except not lame and not with a shoe box.

gyehehehe, yea I saw a couple of these shadowbox type pieces at the gallery in Disneyland (both Alice & Wonderland) and was like, "Damn, I should try that out."
